Baseball and great food are two American favorites. They come together at
Boston’s Whole Foods Symphony, which is just steps away from Fenway Park.

I was at this Whole Foods recently, and had the pleasure of offering tastings
of baseball cookies from the Cooperstown Cookie Company. I met lots of
great people, including these two little Red Sox fans.

Whole Foods in four states now carry our Baseball Cookie Bunt Packs. The Red
Sox branded Baseball Cookie Bunt Packs are one of our biggest sellers.
People love the look, the grab ‘n go convenience, and the tasty baseball
cookies. Twenty-one Whole Foods in Massachusetts, including all three in Boston, carry our
baseball cookies.

Happy Baseball Birthday, DAD

A great part of working at the Cooperstown Cookie Company is that you get to play a part in people’s celebrations, whether it’s shipping out baseball favors for a baseball birthday party, baseball-themed bar mitzvah, or baseball wedding, or just packaging up a baseball themed gift for someone special.

stadium tins fileld with baseball cookiesThis week we had an order from Mandi, who wanted to surprise her baseball-loving dad with a very special gift on his birthday. She ordered a Classic Cooperstown Stadium Tin filled with our tasty bite-sized baseball cookies. This popular tin shows scenes from Cooperstown, including the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Doubleday Field. Before she gave this gift to Dad, however, she tucked in an airline ticket to Cooperstown. Wow! What a gift!

Thanks Mandi, for making the Cooperstown Cookie Company part of this special gift. And, Happy Birthday to Mandi’s dad, we hope you’ll have a great time here in Cooperstown, the home of baseball.

Cooperstown Cookie Joins in Festival Fun

The Cooperstown Cookie Company is on the road this weekend.

We’ll be at the 8th Annual Mohawk Valley Garlic and Herb Festival  in Little Falls, NY this Saturday, displaying our baseball cookie treats. This festival, whose theme is “Eat, Stink & Be Merry”, is always a great time. Features music, crafts, a Garlic Queen, and lots of great food. We’ll be offering tastes of  a new rosemary shortbread cookie. Please stop by our booth! For more info, go to the Garlic Festival web site.

And, from Baseball Cookies and Garlic, to Baseball Cookies and Beer. We’ll also be participating in Ommefest at Brewery Ommegang this Saturday. This event is a toast to the harvest season with fermented foods, local beer, wine and cider, and other locally grown foods.     It also showcases local artists and craftspeople. Brewery Ommegang is located just south of Cooperstown.

Also this weekend is the Harvest Festival at The Farmers’ Museum in Cooperstown. Lots of fun events to enjoy.

Read the Ladies Who Launch profile. This article has generated a lot of interest. The popular Foodzie blog, for example, referred to it as a resource for others looking to start up a food business.  Always great to get good press, and spread the word about our sweet success with baseball cookies.
